Computer Skill Test Courses for Staff

1. Proficiency in Software Tools

• MS Word: Typing ( Nepali, English), formatting professional documents using heading styles, page breaks, margins, and performing mail merges.
• MS Excel : Data entry, basic formula ( SUM, AVERAGE), sorting / filtering datasets, and creating simple charts or graphs.
• MS PowerPoint: Building on-brand slide decks, inserting images/videos/multimedia, and applying consistent templates and transitions.
• File Management: Creating, naming, moving, and organizing folders; understanding file extensions (e.g., .pdf, .docx, .xlsx ).

2. Internet and Communication

   Managing a busy inbox, setting folder rules, scheduling meetings, and professional email etiquette.

• Managing google drive: Create files and its management.
• Web Research: Efficiently using search engines to find reputable information and verifying sources.
• Collaboration Tools: Proficiency in virtual meeting platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams etc.
• Security Awareness: Identifying phishing attempts, using strong passwords, and following data protection (e.g., GDPR) basics.
